The purpose of this exercise is to evaluate the usability of an aspect of a product listing and product details page. I decided to look at Walmart’s website and app for android, focusing on the task flow of selecting groceries (Fruit) and proceeding to check out. This was done seeing how much (or little) the selected task flow in the web application violated Jakob Nielsen 10 user interface design heuristics. The following heuristics were the subject of evaluation:

5. Help users recognize, diagnose, and recover from errors.

6. Consistency and standards

7. Recognition rather than recall

8. Flexibility and efficiency of use
